Taylor Simpson-Bisson

Taylor is the owner and lead designer at Impact Home Design. His philosophy centers around striving to help the client reach their goal. Whether it be the home owner seeking to build their dream home, or the builder/developer looking to sell their investment, Taylor is able to seek out and relate to the client’s overall needs, customizing the design to suit them. It’s your home. We work together to encompass every aspect required by the client, the various parameters by the city, and every complexity of the building code. Along with a uniquely custom design, everything comes together with the purpose of reaching the client’s goal: a great design, ready for construction.

An educational foundation in the construction industry coincides with his degree in Building Technology. Complete with nearly 10 years of working alongside builders, developers, and home owners, Taylor’s experience creates an organized, creative, and precise design experience. He understands the complexities of the BC Building Code, the realities of the construction industry, and the systems of the municipalities. With a love of design, a genuine creative spark, and his vast amount of technical knowledge, Taylor creates some truly distinctive custom home designs.

Taylor was born and raised on Vancouver Island in Victoria, BC with his brother and sister, growing up in Fernwood and then later in Gordon Head. He’s lived in this beautiful city his whole life and has loved every minute of it. As he grew, he watched the city grow with him and is proud to be a part of that growth. He currently lives in Langford with his wife and two daughters. Taylor enjoys cooking, barbequing, and smoking meat. He likes to read and writes his own short stories. He’s yet to write a novel, but hopes to one day in the future!
